Customer Service Manager
Our client, based ten minutes’ drive from Guildford in the heart of the Surrey countryside, is a major insurance provider to over a million customers in the UK and they also provide financial planning services such as investment and pension schemes.
They currently seek a Customer Service Manager to lead and develop a small team of advisors. From the first moment, through team meetings and 1-2-1 assessments you will be expected to ensure each team member is delivering a consistently excellent customer service experience and are compliant with FSA regulations where required. You will be assessing and coaching each advisor to upsell where appropriate and to build sustainable relationships with their customer contacts.
In addition, you will be the main point of contact for complex policy enquiries, complaints, obtaining/briefing the team on new business information and recruiting new team members as and when required.
The successful candidate will preferably have worked within the insurance industry and have relevant qualifications (albeit candidates from different industry sectors and transferable skills will be considered). Of more importance is the personal attributes of honesty, integrity and diligence and a determined mindset of providing exceptional customer service.
In return a salary of 32k-35k per annum is provided with a performance bonus of up to 3k. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. Due to office location it would be highly advantageous to be a car driver.
