Through market research activities (not sales), our Client helps organisations profile and identify potential customers who maybe interested in their products and services.
On a day-to-day basis you will be required to make outbound market research calls to business professionals with the simple objective of seeing if they are interested in receiving a free publication. If so, you take their email address and subscribe them for free to the publication, if not, you thank them for their time, update the CRM system and move on.
As a team, our client would normally be based in offices in the centre of Brighton – but due to the current restrictions on travel they are working remotely from home. Likewise (at this stage) successful applicants would also be required to work from home and as such need to be equipped to do so:
- You would need a PC or Laptop
- A quiet and practical working environment (no noise or distractions)
- A USB headset (standard earphones sometimes do not work)
- Good internet connections
Although telemarketing experience is desirable, it is not essential as all market researchers are given full training (even when working remotely).
The long-term vision is that successful applicants will work from the Brighton office – albeit times for this are unknown.
There are a variety of shift options available including 8.00am-3.30pm and 1pm-8.00pm, if you have a preference please specify in your application.
In return a basic salary of £8.72 – £10 per hour is provided along with a monthly bonus (usually £200-£300 per month).
