How did you get to your current position?
As most people do, I fell into recruitment about 9 years ago! Since then, I’ve worked for a variety of companies, from local office recruitment to high-tech executive search across the European energy market. I’ve landed at The Recruitment Lab as I feel this is a great opportunity for me to compound all my experience in a position to where I can make a meaningful difference to a business.
Favourite part of the recruitment process?
People. The people that you meet in recruitment make it what it is. Everyone that works in the industry understands the struggles and knows what it takes to get the job done. Helping people find that perfect role gives me the satisfaction to keep going.
What advice would you give to a younger ‘you’ starting out in your career?
The best advice I could give is to take every opportunity to learn as much as possible. The best thing you can do is to ask questions and to actively listen to the response. Whether its a client or a candidate, each conversation is an opportunity take on new information to apply to your work and improve each time.
